Copyworld Toshiba summer competition
The Copyworld Toshiba Summer Competition will run from October 2025 to March 2026
Like most summer sports, this is a competition where athletes compete for club points. Twelve premiership competitions are hosted throughout the summer season on a Saturday afternoon. Each athlete represents their club and competes for premiership points. Copyworld Toshiba Interclub Premierships are awarded for each age category.

Field Event Information
The program is run on a ‘session’ format for field events, with athletes able to pick and choose event times.
We request that all field athletes select the correct session at the time of entry. Athletes that select the incorrect session when entering will be removed and placed in the correct session. Eg. Entered low start high jump but on past performance should be in high start high jump.
For safety reasons we require all athletes that meet the long throw criteria to compete in the long throw sessions.
Track Event Information
All track events are seeded according to the ASA Rankings.
Athletes that make a habit of checking in and then not starting may be penalised.

The Copyworld Toshiba Premiership consists of 12 rounds of point-scoring competition, with almost all Track & Field events covered across the timetables.
Only registered ASA club members competing in their correct age group, with the correct implement for that age group, will be eligible to score points during premiership competitions.
Age for competition is at 31st December in the year of competition.
The age categories for point scoring are U14, U16, U18, Open and O35 with separate scoring for men and women.
This season with the introduction of 035 athletes using masters specifications and para athletes not having a separate division we have introduced a new way of calculating points for the premiership.
All results for athletes will be scored based on either:
- individual athlete performances (able athletes)
- age graded percentages (O35 athletes)
- AA baseline scoring tables (para athletes)
Individual event points will be allocated on a sliding scale detailed below and added throughout the day to the overall club points. All athletes in position 21st or greater will receive 1 point.
Position | 1st | 2nd | 3rd | 4th | 5th | 6th | 7th | 8th | 9th | 10th |
Points | 20 | 18 | 16 | 15 | 14 | 13 | 12 | 11 | 10 | 9 |
Position | 11th | 12th | 13th | 14th | 15th | 16th | 17th | 18th | 19th | 20th |
Points | 8 | 7 | 6 | 5 | 4 | 3 | 2 | 1 | 1 | 1 |
Total club points for the day of competition will then be converted into Premiership Points. The points table is detailed below.
Position | 1st | 2nd | 3rd | 4th | 5th | 6th | 7th | 8th | 9th | 10th | 11th | 12th |
Premiership Points |
12 | 10 | 8 | 7 | 6 | 5 | 4 | 3 | 2 | 1 | 1 | 1 |
Points will be allocated over the 12 Premiership rounds. The Club with the most Premiership Points at the end of the season will be deemed the winner.
Para athletes competing in a discipline that is not a pathway event (i.e. is not listed on the baseline scoring template) or competing outside of their classification will still be able to compete, and will only receive points based on there position in the event.
