Athletics SA will this year host several athletics events for South Australian school-aged students.
These events will be held at either the SA Athletics Stadium in Mile End or the Bridgestone Athletics Centre in Salisbury.

2026 Golden North Schools Challenge
Location: Bridgestone Athletics Centre, Salisbury
Date: Wednesday, May 6, 2026 / Term 2, Week 2

The Schools Challenge provides schools throughout South Australia with the opportunity to enter teams of students in an exciting athletics format.
It is a modified athletics carnival featuring shorter and faster races, relays, and a power play system to make the competition more exciting for both competitors and spectators.
There are no minimum or maximum limits on team entries per school, and schools are encouraged to enter multiple teams in the same age and gender category.

2026 State All Schools Athletics Championships
Location: SA Athletics Stadium, Mile End
Date: 24th & 25th October 2026
The All Schools Championships is the premier athletics carnival for school aged students aged 12 and older in 2025, providing a great opportunity to run, jump and throw in an exciting and competitive environment with no previous experience needed.
Entries can be submitted by schools or individual students.
Athletes that place 1st and 2nd are eligible to be selected for the state team to contest the Australian All Schools Championships in Perth, 4th - 6th December 2026.
