2022/23 Season Starts this week

The 2022/23 Athletics Season commences this Saturday afternoon at the Bridgestone Athletics Stadium in Salisbury.
The opening meet of the Summer Season will be The Season Launch on Saturday, October 15, starting at 2pm.
The Season Launch is classified as a Community Athletics Day - a non-point-scoring event, designed for those who are keen to come out and try the sport for the first time, as well as providing Athletics SA's members an additional opportunity to compete in a more relaxed meet.

Events available this weekend include 100m, 100m Frame Running, 400m, 1500m, Hurdles, Steeplechase, 3000m Walk, 1500m Walk, Triple Jump, Pole Vault, Hammer Throw and Discus.

This event is open to both Athletics SA Members and Non-Members.

The Summer Season will remain in Salisbury for at least the first month as the track replacement and facility upgrade work at the SA Athletics Stadium in Mile End continues.
Following The Season Launch, will be The Northern Games (another Community Athletics Day) on October 22, while the first Copyworld Toshiba Interclub meet of the season will take place in Salisbury on Saturday, November 5.
