The Interclub program is run in a ‘session’ format, with athletes able to pick and choose which event time best works for them. Athletics SA will be trialling restrictions on some event sessions to assist efficient event progression, and officials' management. The disciplines affected by these changes are the Triple Jump and Throws. These adjustments will be reviewed part-way through the season by the track and field committee.
Exhibition Pole Vault competitions will be running on off weeks on either the back straight or warm-up area. No event registration is required for this competition.
Interclub Premiership Points
Interclub consists of 10 rounds of point-scoring competition on an A & B timetable rotation, with almost all Track & Field events covered across the timetables (see event grid for other events that qualify for points).
This season's Copyworld Toshiba Interclub competitions will be located at the SA Athletics Stadium in Mile End. Athletes aged 12 through to 60+ take part and accumulate Premiership Points for their club, as well as striving for personal bests, national qualifiers and the fun/social aspect that comes with club competition!
