WELCOME TO THE FOURTH ADELAIDE DISTANCE SERIES!

Join us as the state's best distance runners compete for the title of 2023/24 State 3,000m Champion in the Open, U20, U18. U17, U16, U15, O35 and O50 age groups.

800m - 6:30PM

Women's 800m followed by Men's 800m

3000m

Men's Heat 1 - 7PM

Women's Heat 1 - 7:20PM

Men's Heat 2 - 7:40PM

Women's Heat 2 - 7:55PM

Men's Heat 3 - 8:10PM

RULES AND SPECIFICATIONS

Athletics SA Shoe Declaration (U20 and Open athletes)

Athletes competing in the Open and U20 state title events are required to wear compliant shoes

Races

There will be separate Men's and Women's races and all races will be seeded based on athlete ability by seed time entrants submit at registration.

Bib & Check In

Bib Collection will be located in the function room, and all athletes will be required to check in no later than 45 minutes before the start of the race. 

Uniform

All athletes must wear their club uniform. Running SA & General Public entrants can wear any appropriate running attire.

 

Parking

Due to the SASI development, the car park directly accessing the SA Athletics Stadium is closed, and parking in the netball area will be required for this event. Please note that netball competitions will be occurring, and parking may be limited, ensure you leave sufficient time to find parking.

 

First Aid

First Aid personnel will be on hand during the event and will be located at the stadium finish line.

Event Marshalling

Track athletes are required to marshall at the start line 10 minutes before the race, and Field athletes must marshall at the event site 15 minutes before to warm up.

Lap Scorers

All athletes are required to provide their own lap scorer for this event. Lap scorers can be a friend, parent, partner or fellow athlete not competing in the same race.
