Event information
To assist Athletics SA with allocating officials on event days, we ask our athletes, coaches and community to notify us what events to sanction to a World Athletics Standard for rankings and points.
With reduced officials in 2023-24, Athletics SA ask our community to notify us when to allocate the correct qualified officials for disciplines to ensure results are accepted. Please note that events could not be run/ sanctioned without the many volunteer officials who work with ASA on event days.
Application to World Athletics for a sanctioned event has to be made more than 60 days in advance of the event.
When nominating events they must already be on the event grid for the nominated date.
