2022-23 State Track and Field Championships
Athletics SA hosted the South Australian Track and Field Championships on Friday 3rd – Sunday 5th March 2023 for the first time on the new track.
Many South Australian athletes went into the weekend with the aim of being crowned State Champion and to qualify for both National and International competitions.

Homegrown and international talent will headline a blockbuster evening of track and field at the Chemist Warehouse Adelaide Invitational, with a line-up of Olympic and Paralympic medallists including Ash Moloney, Matthew Centrowitz (USA), and Michael Roeger leading a star-studded affair at SA Athletics Stadium this Saturday.

Olympic champion Matthew Centrowitz to make comeback in Australia
The Maurie Plant Meet, a World Athletics Continental Tour Gold level meet, has lured Olympic 1500m champion Matthew Centrowitz Jnr down under from the United States. The three-time Olympian has also locked in a race on either side, kicking off his campaign in Adelaide next week and concluding in Sydney in March.
