Additional Program Information

The elastic wristbands each have a unique ID chip that pairs with an in-app account on the mobile User app. There is no visual display on the band, or ability to count steps. There is no GPS, no battery and no personal information stored on the band.
Parents/guardians register their child’s band on their personal mobile device. The User app is developed for both Apple and Android mobile devices.
Once bands are registered, kids design their in-app Avatar and can then start scanning their bands to log activity. There is an in-app library of activity ideas in the Sports Skills and Active Games categories, or they can create their own!
1,500 Active Points each day keeps the Avatars happy and meets the Australian government recommendation of 60-minutes of moderate to vigorous physical activity. Active Points earns kids in-app trophies, awards, and loots to dress-up their Avatar, as well as moving through different worlds as they rack up the points.
