The track and field season has a number of state championship competition opportunities for registered participants. These events are open to all registered athletes and one day registered athletes (contact Athletics SA for more information). State Championships require pre-registration, which can be completed on the ASA website.
State 10000m Run and State 10000m walk championships – 3rd November 2013 8:30am
Entries are now open and are available for Athletics SA members and non-members. Categories include Open. under 20, over 35, and over 50 for men and women. Athletes of all abilities are welcome.
Entries close on November 1st at 9am.

State Open, AWD Over 35, and Over 50 Championships
Usually held in February or March each year, this event is open to registered Athletics SA athletes and is the official South Australian track and field championships.
State Relay Championships
Registered participants compete for their clubs in a variety of relays on the track and in the field. This popular event is usually held in November or December.
State Junior Championships
The official state championships for junior athletes in the under 14, under 15, under 16, under 17, under 18, and under 20 athletes. This event is usually held in January or February.
The Age Categories of events are U14, U15, U16, U17, U18, and U 20. These age groups, while not our normal set up, are required for State and National team selection.
