RULES AND SPECIFICATIONS

Track Relays
Teams consist of 4 members, and the team age group is determined by the oldest member of the team for entrants under 18 and younger. For open age groups and older, the team is determined by the youngest member (i.e. 1 x Open, 2 x O35 & 1 x O50 will become an Open team). If there is an Open member of the team, this team will automatically become an Open team.

Relays being held are the 4x100m, 4x200m, 4x400m, 4x800m & Swedish (100,300,200,400). Para Relays will only be the 4x100m.

Field Relays
(Teams consist of 3 members, each doing one event, and their points are added up to score against other clubs)
Jumps Relay - Long Jump, Triple Jump & High Jump
Throws Relay - Discus, Javelin & Shot Put
Field Athletes can only compete once within their age category (e.g. An athlete cannot do Long Jump in Relay Team A and also do Triple Jump in Relay Team B)

Bibs

Bib Collection for 23-24 Season will be located in the function room.  All athletes must wear current Athletics SA bibs.

Cost

$30 per team invoiced to the club post-event.

Parking

Due to the SASI development, the car park directly accessing the SA Athletics Stadium is closed, and parking in the netball area will be required for this event.

First Aid

First Aid personnel will be on hand during the event and will be located at the stadium finish line.

Lap Counters & Relay Marshals

Each club is responsible for supplying enough lap scorers/counters for the number of teams that they have submitted. If your club has a large number of teams, we recommend that you organise one person to manage 2-3 teams as a maximum, as managing numerous teams can be difficult. Please ensure your volunteers arrive for the briefing before the event starts.

Digital check-in will not be in use for this event
