Welcome to a day of Club V Club relay action! We encourage you to play your part in the largest participated event on our SA calendar... you are going to have lots of FUN! We encourage you to add some face paint, coloured socks and wear your club colours with pride!

Register: If you wish to be a part of a relay team for State Relays, please contact your club contact/manager. All entries are organised by your club.

CLUB ENTRY INSTRUCTIONS

Track Relays
Teams consist of 4 members where the team age group is determined by the oldest member of the team for entrants under 18 and younger. For open age groups and older the team is determined by the youngest member (i.e. 1 x Open, 2 x O35 & 1 x O50 will become an Open team). If there is an Open member of the team, this team will automatically become an Open team.
4x100m, 4x200m, 4x400m, 4x800m & Swedish (100,300,200,400).
Field Relays
(Teams consist of 3 members, each doing one event and their points are added up to score against other clubs)
Jumps Relay - Long Jump, Triple Jump & High Jump
Throws Relay - Discus, Javelin & Shot Put
Field Athletes can only compete once within their age category (e.g An athlete cannot do Long Jump in Relay Team A and also do Triple Jump in Relay Team B)

U14, U16, U18, OPEN, O35, O50, PARA

Please Note: Age groups for State Championships are determined by an athlete’s age as at 31 December the year of competition

EVENT REMINDERS

For Athletes:

  • Check latest timetable
  • All athletes must be in correct club uniform with current season bib numbers (front and back!)
  • When you arrive, make sure you check in with your club's team manager.
  • All team members must report to the finish line area 10mins before relay start and listen to instructions from officials. Field events report to event site.
  • If you are leaving your field event to run in a relay, please let the officials know.
  • We encourage you to be loud and proud! Wear some funky socks or some facepaint and enjoy the day!
  • Medals will be awarded immediately after each relay.


For Team Managers:

  • Check latest timetable
  • Sign off teams up until 1 hour before start time in the function room.
  • Changes to composition can be made up until 45mins before start time in function room.
  • Please supply volunteers for specified relays/events (see timetable)
