Important: From the 1st of January 2011, new changes to child protection laws in South Australia come into effect. It is now a requirement that all those considered to be working with children have a valid police clearance. This applies, but is not limited to Coaches, Officials, Team Managers, Athletics SA staff, Child Safe Officer, Volunteers (as applicable), Registrars, and Member Protection Information Officers. Anyone involved with Athletics SA or its affiliates in any capacity, is strongly encouraged to read Part C of the Athletics SA Member Protection Policy. For those individuals that volunteer with Athletics SA and its affiliated clubs, the fee is waived if the correct procedure is followed. Please click the link to review the Police Checks Procedure.
