Athletics SA is pleased to release its new strategic plan.
The plan covers the period 2017 – 2020 and has been meticulously constructed with consideration given to the contents of Athletics Australia’s draft plan, the vision for athletics in Australia, Little Athletics SA’s plan, opportunities that exist, and consumption trends within sport and broader society. Stakeholder input was also garnered from the stakeholder engagement piece conducted by Athletics Australia to establish the whole of sport vision.
Athletics SA’s Strategic Plan 2017 – 2020 establishes the vision of Athletics in South Australia as One Sport that is appropriately positioned to realise its full potential with the mission of uniting athletics in South Australia to provide a range of events, products and services that maximise participation and performance.
The Plan focuses on four key areas which are:

4. Communications and Systems
The plan is underpinned by a detailed 4 year rolling operational plan that translates the strategy in to key initiatives with tangible metrics to measure progress and success.
